KILIMANJARO - RONGAI: rated SUPERBKilimanjaro is Africa's highest peak and also the African mountain that claims the most lives every year. The five night, six day Rongai route group climb, is in our opinion the safest, least travelled route on the mountain, with overnight camps at the 'right' altitudes. This is a tough mountain walking safari holiday; walkers need to prepare themselves physically as well as mentally to succeed in reaching Ururu peak. |

CLIMB THE BRANDBERG: rated VERY GOODThe Brandberg is the highest mountain in Namibia, this granite dome jutts out of the surrounding aluvial desert plains. A combination of - the daily tempratures soaring, the remoteness, the lack of surface water and the daily distances covered make this a formidable climb even for the fit walker. << coming soon >> |

OLDINYO LENGAI HIKE: rated SUPERBThe day hike to the summit of the erupting volcano Oldoinyo Lengai in the Great Rift Valley is a tough 8 hours hike. Walkers start out early in the morning and climb with a Masai guide to the summit - this is at present an erupting volcano and the air has a high sulphur content adding to the difficulty of the conditions. This walking safari is ideal if you have an interest in volcanoes. << coming soon >> |

MOUNT MERU TREK: rated SUPERBMount Meru is the little climbed volcano of 4800 metres with the town of Arusha at its base. This walking safari meanders through the Arusha National Park where the game viewing can be excellent on its way to the summit of the mountain. Overnights are in huts and the walking and altitude are ideal acclimatisation for Kilimanjaro. You will need a head for heights as, during this walk, there is a very narrow ledge that needs to be negotiated. << coming soon >> |
