	EMPAKAI CRATER WALK: rated SUPERB This 4 day walking safari is within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania and follows a route through the Empakai Crater to Ol Doinyo Lengai. 	MOUNT MAKAROT HIKE: rated SUPERB This one day African mountain hike is best as part of a longer road safari and the route over the summit of Mount Makarot is challenging, but suitable for even the moderately fit walker. The mountain hike is lead by a Masai warrior and the views of the Serengeti plains from the summit of the volcano are just stupendous. 	KUOMBOKA: rated EXCELLENT Kuomboka is the annual ceremony to welcome the king of the Lodzi nation back to his winter palace.
